The goal with the Modern Refresh project was to clean up and minimize UI, modernize the visuals with a flatter appearance, reduce clicks by bringing content forward, improve the UX in Playlist and Menu, add transitions, and clean up metadata.


I was hired as the project was ramping up and lead the redesign of the entire product beyond Playlist and Menu, while working closely with UX to iterate on and improve Playlist and Menu in between each round of user testing. I also created a motion design methodology that improved the user experience and laid the ground work for future products across multiple platforms.
